3-Year Extended Warranty
Coverage Period
The 3-Year Extended Warranty begins immediately after the standard manufacturer’s warranty ends and provides coverage for eligible products for an additional 36 months.
What is Covered
- Manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship
- Mechanical or electrical failures under normal use
- Parts and labour required to restore the product to its original operational condition
What is Not Covered
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorised repairs
- Damage from external factors such as power surges, liquid spills, fire, or natural disasters
- Cosmetic issues (e.g. scratches, dents, fading) that do not affect functionality
- Normal wear and tear, including consumables such as batteries, filters, or bulbs
- Modifications or alterations to the product
How to Make a Claim
- Contact us at hello@ozgoodsdepot.com.au with proof of purchase, details about the issue, and any relevant photos or videos.
- Assessment – Our team will assess your claim and confirm whether it falls under warranty coverage.
- Resolution – If approved, we will arrange repair, replacement, or an alternative solution.
Repair or Replacement Process
- Products will be repaired by certified technicians using genuine parts.
- If repair is not possible, the product will be replaced with the same model or one of equal value.
- If neither is possible, a refund equal to the product’s current market value may be issued.
Limitations and Exclusions
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Coverage is valid only for products purchased from authorised retailers or directly from us.
- Loss of data, software, or personal information associated with the product is not covered.
Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to our service centre.
- Return shipping costs are covered under this warranty.
Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This Extended Warranty provides additional protection beyond your rights under the ACL. It does not limit, restrict, or replace any consumer guarantees.
